Born in Mumbai, India on 17th December 1972 John Abraham is one of the most successful male models in India. His dad is a Christian from Aluva, Kerala and his mother is from Iran. Being a Catholic his father added the name 'Abraham' to his son John as a mark of respect to the first patriarch and progenitor of the Hebrew people in the Bible.

That name gave him a noted stand when he entered the modeling field. His revolutionary looks, macho body, baby smiles and nice character made him the highest paid supermodel in India. Lara Dutta (born April 16, 1978) is an Indian actress. She was crowned Miss Universe in 2000.
Lara Dutta was born in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh to father Wing Commander L.K. Dutta (retired) and mother Jennifer Dutta. Her family moved to Bangalore in 1981 where she completed her high school.Her sister is also serving in the Indian Airforce. Lara graduated in economics with a minor in communications from the Bombay University.

Lara Dutta won the annual Gladsrags modeling competition in her natuive India, earning her the right to be the first Indian representative at the 1997 Miss Intercontinental pageant, where she went on to capture the crown. Later, she was crowned Femina Miss India Universe and Miss Universe in 2000.

At Miss Universe 2000 in Cyprus, Dutta was the clear favorite ahead of fierce competitors from Venezuela, Philippines, Colombia and even another former Miss Intercontinental titleholder, Miss Germany. Her finalist interview score, in the last year that such marks were televised, was the highest individual score in any category in the history of the Miss Universe contest, as her perfect interview saw a majority of the judges giving her the maximum 9.99 mark. After her final question, in which Dutta delivered a passionate defense of the Miss Universe contest (and other beauty pageants), she became the second Indian Miss Universe. Dutta has the distinction of being one of a few Miss Universes in the last decade to win by the unanimous vote of the jury (every judge on the panel cast a "1," or first place vote, for her). Mahek Chahal is a 24-year-old Norwegian model of Indian origin. Although Mahek comes from a Punjabi family (that migrated to Norway), she considers herself a full-bloodied Norwegian.

She speaks Norwegian, and also “think in Norwegian”. She studied in a Norwegian-medium school. She had been doing modeling and dance shows in various countries around the world before she gave Bollywood a shot.

Mahek’s linguistic shortcoming became a problem when she was considered for a role in Ajnabee , two years back. However, she was able to get a Telugu movie titled Neetho, but the director had to get her dialogues dubbed.

Mahek quickly learned from her shortcomings and joined Kishore Namit's acting school in Mumbai, which has groomed newcomers Hrithik Roshan and former beauty queens Priyanka Chopra and Dia Mirza.

A spruced up Mahek made her Bollywood debut last year with a marginal role in a forgettable flick Nayee Padosan. She also did an item number in Kareena Kapoor starrer Chameli.

Twenty-one-year-old Minissha Lamba is a Delhi girl. She graduated in English Honours from DU’s Miranda House. Her father was the general manager of the Grand Palace Hotel in Srinagar. She herself has lived in Kashmir for two years. Even as she was doing her graduation in Delhi, Minissha kept dabbling in modeling on the sidelines and was a part of successful television commercials like LG, Sony, Cadbury, Hajmola, Airtel, Sunsilk, among others. It was in an audition for a Cadbury ad in Delhi when she met director Shoojit Sircar who offered her the leading role in his first feature film Yahaan. Born in Iran, Negar Khan (sometimes credited as Nigar Khan) grew up in Norway, studied in Australia and was pursuing a career in Bollywood until she was deported in February 2005 by Mumbai authorities for working illegally. She shot to fame with her scantily clad appearance in the 'Chadti Jawani' remix video and numbers in the movies Rudraksh and Shaadi Ka Laddoo. Negar took part in the film Double Cross, in which she plays a pole dancer. She took pole dance training lessons in London. She was deported from India to Norway after she was found to have a tourist visa which does not allow her to do work in India. End of 2005 she filmed in an Italian movie titled Vita Smeralda with actor Luigi Cassandra. Negar Khan was married to Indian actor Sahil Khan but apparently Sahil called off their marriage citing Negar's mother interference and the distance between them as the main factor.

Tejaswini Kolhapure, better known as Padmini Kolhapure’s younger sister. As a youngster, Tejaswini was never inclined towards acting. So when Rahul Rawail offered her the lead role in his Bekhudi some years back, instead of clinching it, Tejaswini preferred to walk the ramps. Thereafter, having the catwalks for years, she decided to give television a shot. That’s when 'Mujhe Chand Chahiye' happened. And now moving a step further onto the silver screen.

With her debut film Paanch shelved for a long time, Tejaswini Kolhapure has yet to make a start in Bollywood. Paanch, launched by none other than her sister’s hubby, Tutu Sharma, the story is about a 5 member music band struggling to make it big on the movie scene. Tejaswini plays one of the quintets, a sassy and selfish girl. Reputed failure stems frustration among the rockers who finally commit a crime and get themselves into a fix.

Tejaswini had recently walked out of award-winning filmmaker Manish Jha's film Matrabhoomi, because the role required her to expose. The young Kolhapure girl was acting on special guidance by her elder sister and former actress Padmini Kolhapure and her husband and film producer Tutu Sharma.

However, Tejaswini seems to have learned that she can’t afford to be so choosy when her Bollywood career is yet to take off.

So the girl has signed for debutant director Harry Fernandes film Anjaane: The Unknown despite the fact that some scenes in the film require her to wear skimpy swimsuits. Anjane is the Hindi remake of the Nicole Kidman's supernatural thriller ‘The Others’.

Tejaswini debut film Paanch still has to hit the theatres and appears to have been dumped for the time being. But Tutu is not throwing in the towel. He is all set to produce yet another movie with Tejaswini in the leading role.

The movie titled Hum, Tum...Woh will co-star Aftab Shivdasani and will be directed by Rahul Rawail's nephew Rajat Rawail. Presumed to be a thriller, the film will also have newcomer Darshika in a parallel role. The movie is based on a story by Tutu himself. It will go on the floors in October.

Tulip Joshi, born 1979[1], is an Indian model and actress in Bollywood. She was born in Bombay, India, on September 11, 1979 , is a Virgoan, and stands 5'6" tall. She has dark-hair, brown eyes, and measures 32.5-26-36. She has two sisters, Selphi and Monalisa. The latter is married to Bollywood actor, Rajat Bedi. She has a nephew, Vivann, and niece, Vera. Tulip was brought up in Mumbai, and attended the Jamnabai Narsee School, and later Mithibai College from where she graduated in food science and chemistry. She excelled in sports, competing in athletics at the National level. Tulip entered the Femina Miss India Contest in 2000. She did not make it to the list of winners, but was noticed by many advertising agencies. She appeared in a number of advertising campaigns for big brands (Ponds, Pepsi, Siyaram, BPL, Smirnoff, etc.). (She also appeared in a video made as a tribute to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Tulip entered movies quite by chance. She was a friend of the bride of Aditya Chopra, the son of director Yash Chopra. The family noticed her at their wedding and asked her to appear for an audition, following which they cast her in Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai. Not being fluent in Hindi, she trained in Hindi diction and in acting at Feroze Khan’s studio. She was also advised by the film-makers to change her name to something more Indian, as audiences might have difficulty in accepting a heroine with such an unconventional name. She chose the name Sanjana, she was playing the character of Anjali in that film. The film was quite a success[2] Despite the good reviews and success, Tulip was heavily panned for her acting. Afterwards, she vanished from cinema for two years because of severe back problems resulting from a shifted spine and a slipped disc. She reappeared in Matrubhoomi - a dark film about a futuristic world with almost no women. Her performance in it was praised and established her credibility as an actress. Reverting back to her given name, Tulip next appeared in the Telugu film Villain. Her next Hindi movie was Dil Maange More with Shahid Kapoor, Ayesha Takia and Soha Ali Khan. The film got average reviews but it was not a box office success.
