BIOGRAPHY

Daughter of late actor Vinod Mehra, Soniya will make her debut with Anant Mahadevan's Victoria No 203 remake.

Amrita Arora was supposed to do the lead role in this remake of the 1970s classic but apparently there was friction between her and producer Kamal Sadanah. She opted out and Soniya moved in.

Om Puri and Anupam Kher play an important role in the film, replacing Pran and Ashok Kumar from the original.
