BIOGRAPHY

Miland Soman is an Indian male model and actor. He was born in a maharashtrian Chitpavan Brahmin family in Scotland and lived in England for seven years before moving to India. He was an electrical engineer before he turned to modelling. He was initially rejected by Graviera Suitings because he looked too young to wear a suit. His breakthrough came with Thackersey fabrics. He is considered to be India's first male supermodel and is also a great swimmer. He was briefly engaged to model Madhu Sapre with whom he had done a controversial Tuff advertisement in which both were shown only wearing shoes and surrounded by pythons. Soman is also an actor. He has acted in movies such as 16th December, Rules, Pachaikili Muthucharam, Agni Varsha and Asoka. He is married to Mylène Jampanoï-Soman, whom he wed in Goa. He is 5ft11in and weighs 190 lbs.

He was also filmed in Alisha's video MADE IN INDIA for which he won many accolades.
